Sugarbush & Super Parx Team Up

Terrain Parks got you down? Angry over underpromised deliveries from last season? We understand and want to make it up to you!

This season Sugarbush Resort and the Super Parx crew from California have teamed up to redo every feature in our 2 terrain parks! We will unveil 22+ new features this winter, including wall rides, gateway boxes, flat boxes, rails, etc. to get your adrenaline flowing. Plus, all of the snow hits and bigger jumps will be rebuilt and designed by Super Parx.

Last year was a tough season and the park was not up to par. We recognize that and decided to invest 3x more money this season and hire some of the best park guys in the country. We have also hired a bigger park crew and they are being trained by Super Parx so we can maintain our features throughout the winter. Our park manager also just got back from training (Pipe Cutters) in Whistler.

We are going to groom and maintain our parks every night so each day the features will be mint. There are still some skeptics out there but trust me, the park is going to be tight this year....we have spent too much money for it not to be!

You can see some pics on our MySpace pages so you see for yourself. Profile names under: 1) Sugarbush Resort 2) Super Parx. Check us out this year, you won't be disappointed!

huge respect for puttin in that much effort. Im going to wait and see. Maybe itll be worth makin a trip to sugarbush this year

seems sick but you should have told more people last year because I know myself and a lot of other people decided not to get seasons passes there because the park was a disgrace last season and nobody working there showed any signs of giving half a shit. also you guys had like 30+ rails at the bottom of the park last year that never saw the light of day, and those that did were set up like crap and maintained like crap, so hopefully you guys step up your maintenance crew as well as your features and maybe i'll get a pass there next year, but seriously way late on telling anybody about this

3x??!?!!?

thast so sick, and yeah, all you skeptics, take from a fellow newschooler, i went up there and everything looks soo dope. the next stage though, is setting it up correctly and getting the jumps set up.

im stoked for opening day though.

We met the Super Parx guys this summer and decided to team up and bring them East for the first time ever. Since then we have turned head's with everything we have done together. The reason why we didn't hype it last season is because nothing was set up.

As for set up and maintenance, we have a dedicated crew who is going to maintain the park daily and it will be groomed and raked to make sure it stays tight all season. Plus our park crew was working with Super Parx so they know how to fix features and maintain them properly. Our Park Director spent time in Whistler at the terrain convention to bone up on his park skills, so he knows his shit.

In a few weeks, Super Parx are coming back to push our snow and make the big hits so the park flows better. It will be tight and you will have to check it out. We at Sugarbush have worked hard to reconcile any past resentment towards our new school perpsective and this year is the beginning of something new and beautiful. Come and see.

Trust me, the park last year and it's design is DEAD. This year is the re-birth of Sugarbush Terrain Parks. Everything is brand new, and the Super Parx guys are coming back to push snow for us in December to make the big hits too.

It will be tight so check us out.......the Burton Riders were stoked with the rail jam we put on and they want to play with our toys, as do many others!!

I spoke to your boss on the phone a few times and he seems like he's got the proper energy towards making this project work for you guys. I'll be up there to ride when my park is up and running to steal your ideas haha. Pray for cold.

Nice, I will have to come and poach you too!!!

I am praying that this mass of cold air will actually hit this weekend and bring a Nor'Easter, which would be nice!!

Check the website (www.sugarbush.com) for pics and conditions.

We are planning on opening Lincoln Peak (top to bottom) this weekend, Dec. 9, as originally planned.

Mt. Ellen has been open since Monday and we have some rails to hit. We have downloading right now in order to create a solid base now that the ground is freezing.

Super Parx will be returning soon to set up the flow of the parks as well as push snow to create our bigger hits. We will have 2 parks at Mt. Ellen and they should be completed in a few weeks (weather permitting).

Do your snow dances and make those sacrifices to the gods because I think winter is finally arriving!

all the new rails and the wallride look sick!! the rails they have set-up now are perfect and the box is huge!!! like 2 ft wide...you can learn anything you want on it... this winter is gonna be badass
