SUGARBUSH 11'12

Sugarbush should get the act together and do an early opening like Killy, they can easily do it and have Heavens Gate open with downloading on Super Bravo.

Cept opening around now is not an early opening. And sure they would get the business, toss up a park and boom, you just got every college student that has been going to Killy the past 2 weeks.

think about it pete. everyone is going home, they cant just "toss" up a park it takes man hours which costs $$$, theyd have to do some sort of deal to rival the 2 for 1. they might not get a huge turnout which would be loss of money because they have to run the lifts all day. think through your statements before you post YMRetard

lol pete was raging at me telling me how wrong i was yesterday.

Plus think about the name Killington has made themselves. People know Killington is legit, and it has a big name. People who might be closer to Sugarbush could still likely go to killington, despite it being as much as 45 minutes more, because they know it will be legit.

So yeah, I'm planning another annual trip here but I'm wondering if it's gonna be crowded the week after christmas (26-30th). My theory is most people are traveling back home on these days and won't come. And from my visits, it's never crowded. But I was hoping someone went during that time last year and can let me know?

seeing as how hurricane irene pretty much destroyed their snowmaking potential, sugarbush is going to have a tough time opening before we get any cold temps and natural snow.

but i guess if you're just a poser college kid that only hangs out in vt during the school year you probably wouldn't have known that.

I live in the town where the sugarbush is. the pond is completely refilled, and I am currently watching them blow snow on Lincoln peak and Mt.Ellen. They are for sure opening by the end of the week.

Typically, the time after christmas is the BUSIEST time at ski areas. Luckily, sugarbush is never that bad.

One thing that I am always impressed by, is how well Sugarbush is at dispersing people all over the mountain. There are never any really long lift lines

I will be in blue salomon coat black salomon pants and on moment rubies just gonna be skiing groomers as I dont/ cant ski park. Give me a shout if you want to take a couple of runs.-Zack

They just gonna set these up at the end of jester? Doesn't look like organ grinder has any snow on it. I think the flats of jester are a better spot than the bottom of organ grinder anyway.

mini stairset is gonna be on the slowpoke park! they have two other larger stairsets they're putting in, hypehypehype!

They may close down by then unfortunately. That's why I won't be making the hike up there this weekend. There's some serious warm air rushing in after this storm.

it was fuckin sick! had mad fun shredding with lots of bush homies.

Setup: Flat rail, flat box, down rail, up rail, super fun setup

Trails are a tad interesting though, Jester is real fun, then downspout is covered with moguls and some spots arent covered with snow

STOKED for CHILLIN N GRILLIN TOMMOROW

YO, so Trevor B, the park manager responsible for building all of these kickass features has asked me a favor:

I got a favor to ask of you. The resort is super pumped up on the terrain parks right now and were getting a lot of support. They ran the numbers from this past weekend and terrain park season pass holders were the majority of the people out this weekend. In the past when people send emails to Win or emails to guest services that say positive things about the park we get even more help. So I was wondering if you could get your crew to send a mass email or a bunch of individual emails out? It would be a big help in our push for more snow.

If you care about how pimpin our parks are gonna be this upcoming season, do your part and shoot Sugarbush Management an email talking about how stoked you are for the upcoming season, and how the improvement of Sugarbush Parks makes you want to Only shred the bush... Responses that they get from us will help increase the amount of snow that we will receive on reimergasse this year, so please do your part and help out.

DO IT UP!

I hit them up with a nice little letter.

Those rails are 6 footers btw Meese. I'm starting to doubt the mountain is going to be open this weekend.
