anyone skiing tomorrow? im up for the first time, ill be here every weekend and some weekdays for the rest of the year
 
skied all day, white and black saga, haha i had like 4 injuries but it was so fun! is it normally that icy though? i have a black toe from it now haha
 
What Alex said. But it's pretty much always firm... Unfortunately we do live on the ice coast...

I'm coming back up on Sunday, I will be there Monday. Hopefully its not too crowded on MLK, I hope everyone goes elsewhere.
 
Fuck having to study for midterms... I want to ski.

I'll be up Saturday though as well as Bolton wednesday night.
 
after landing on my face i was out for like 30 secs so that means baby skiing for the weekend. Ill be there with a cam though! hit me up if u wanna film!
 
I think I'm going to be there Sunday and Monday. Probably snowboarding because my skis are broken, but if you see me holla. Saga scuba pants and big clothing. :D
 
well there wont be any issues in clearing the jumps this year... almost wrecked myself overshooting the first one today.

park is setup sick though. its good to have jibs up top, then jumps then more jibs.
 
I 100% agree. Bolton did an excellent job this year as far as their park goes, jumps are the perfect size 50ish. The landings could be steeper but other than that it's awesome!

I want more rails....

I couldn't care less about the jumps, but I just want them to set up the riemergasse rail line, and the rails at the bottom of the park.
 
The groomer attachment thing broke a couple years ago and they never felt like replacing it.

So it's non existent.
 
anyone who has been recently knows there is a random mound of snow between the last jump and the lower jibs section. there is also a comp coming up at the end of the month and im pretty sure that mound will be used to add to the jumps because they plan to make them larger.

ill agree with an earlier post from milksteak, that down-flat is pretty sketchy. i wish it was more mellow as it almost looks like and feels like its a down-slightly up.

the rail garden on the other trail is setup, im guessing a few more tweaks and it will be ready for the weekend.

favorite thing is the snowmaking pipe (macaroni pipe) they took from the original setup on lincoln peak. set up on a flat with a real landing lets you really spin out of it. getting fs 450s on lock this weekend probably. just need to commit to the spin.
 
It will. I rode the lift with a guy from the park crew and he said it would be made into a 55' step-over. They just need the guy they hired from loon to come back and build that, along with several other features. It's scheduled to be done by January 28th as far as I know.

Haha, yeah didn't recognize that that was you guys until we saw Dan smiling up at the base lodge at the end of the day and put two and two together.

We ended up going up to slidebrook and getting freshies all day though, it was ridiculously good.

MONDAY. I will be there. If you guys going wear the same stuff as you did today or what you had at the rail jam so we can commence with the recognizing and the skiings together down the mountains with the snows and the trees.

POV was my gopro, everything else was Dan's Sanyo point and shoot HD. And as far as the woods, we have no idea hahahha. We don't know Sugarbush yet. Lemme look at a trail map........ Nah, we were off up top. We haven't wandered into the valley yet. We gonna keep our spot secret, there were no tracks where we went.
