holy sh*tballs, has anyone else gone over to sugarbowl in the last two weeks?

top to bottom park run off judah chair has nine jumps, all trickable....plus about four jibs(pretty sick flat/down box, super sick pyramid with a hitching post rail, short up/flat/down rail, D/F/D urban, and a pyramid with barrel jib) and some whoops in that same line...

that same trail has i think seven other jib features that aren't in the jump line...when i was there a session was goin down pretty hard(some mammoth kids and an alpine shredows crew) and not much crowds around...prety rad set-up heads on here should check it out

there are three jumps that are fun (25, 35, 45), as well as 1 small step up, and two true tables, there is one other jump and a few rollers...

The jiibs are weak for the most part, dont get me wrong, its fun, but beginner level stuff for the most part.

The urban down flat down andthe tree jib are sweet though, that barrel has potential as well, we were stalling on it and seeing who can spin the most out

Definitely no nine pack thats for sure

Ive said it before, Shelby and the guy from Jackson (forget his name) are going to step it up big at Sugarbowl.

Ive got to get out there and check it out soon, give them this year to get it together and Shelby will build some legit rails by next year........Im stoked and probably adding a sugarbowl midweek pass to my collection next season.

I was there after the slope style comp and must say the jumps are super fun. The rails on the other hand all seem small and not to professionally built(compared to boreal, alpine or n*). and the pipe, well... its sad to see, but thats a weather problem.

yaaaa, i dont think that pipe is going to be open anytime soon. watching sugar bowl try to build a pipe is like watching a bunch of monkey try to hump a football.

Dude, you have no idea what you are talking about.

The pipe is being cut as i am typing this, this weekend there is a slopestyle event on sat. and a halfpipe comp on sun.

If you think it's taking a long time to build the pipe, please consider the utter lack of natural snow, and horrible snowmaking temps. I gaurantee that the park crew at the bowl is do all that we can with the resources that we have available.

Any input on the park, that doesn't contain "a monkey humping a football", is greatly appreciated.

Shelby

Shelby, hit me back and Id like to come check out the bowl.

I dropped you a text on your celly, let me know when you can ride......I want to check out what your up to over there.
