Amazing. Casimir Pulaski Day is probably one of the saddest songs ever written.

Is sufjan homosexual? My ex gf argues he is because of that song, i think its called lake michigan, and seemingly about sufjan leaving a girl to be with a man. But I argue that is not enough evidence to call him gay. So???
 
He played at Trinity St. Pauls in Toronto which only hosts gay musicians as far as I know... Hidden Cameras, Magnetic Fields, etc... and they have a big rainbow down the side of the church. Do a google search for the topic and watch a thousand pages of arguments over it... it's pretty funny...

Although christian-repressed homosexuality is a constant theme through much of his music, I personally don't give a fuck what his sexual preference is, the man is an insane genius, which was further evidenced to me when I saw him in Denver a couple weeks ago. I was absolutely blown away with most of the show, save a few choice moments. I would kill to see him again.
