The last hit is so fuckin nuts.
 
that was pretty impressive, tho it wont be long until someone beats that and then, not before long, every fuckin hits gonna be a dub. i cant wait.
 
They are required to have a straight air in their run per USSA competition rules.

I saw this run in person and was speechless.

Anyway anybody know exactly what that last hit was. I know it was a double but what type?
 
Im pretty sure before it was a rule it was a tradition in snowboarding. Some thing everyone did out of respect for style.
 
Good god, are you serious? The guy just did 3 different doubles and you think the straight air is a weakness? It adds variety and style, instead of spinning like a top every single hit. I wish more skiers would do it.
 
I heard that was his first double rodeo in the pipe. He did it in honor of kevin pierce since that is the trick he got hurt on.

And yeah, sick run. Kinda funny how shaun has his own private pipe with a fucking foam pit and he still cant hit a run this sick.
 
last trick is inbetween switch double backflip and switch double alley oop rodeo. davis, kp and some others had their own private airbagged pipe in mammoth last spring. not to discount the moves at all, just saying
