Yeah, theres a few 04 STI's around where I live. I've only seen one on the street, and one at the show. I still don't like the headlights, but they are an improvement. The rest of the body is toast though, they're trying to change it too much. Shoulda just kept it the old body in the first place.

they should have kept the old front but i like the new back. i don't like the back end on the older ones, too rounded. the wrx is more aggressibe and it a lot more visible. the bug eye head light has to go.

I like the bug eye headlights. I think they grow on your after awhile. Given, I bought the car for how it drives more than how it looks, but now that I've had it for a little while, I love it. It wouldn't be my Rex if the headlights were different.

yeah, you make a good point. the reason to own an impreza, of any kind, is mainly for how it drives. best handling all around, stock or modified....in my opinion anyways. I do have to say though, I do like the 02-03 ones with Morrettes (dual projector headlights) and some body kits. Makes the car look very bulky and muscular, kinda cool. Still not quite my style, but cool nevertheless.

4runners are better.

i guess you are right, it's more on the preformance than the look. it would be better if it has both correct? it would be hard to make a car loved by everyone since not all ppl like that same style in a car.

The B4 should, supposedly, be here in the fall of 04 as an 05 model. The Forester Aerospec already has an American incarnation as the Forester XT (although it is a bit underpowered, with 210 horses). Also, the Baja has finally been upgraded to become the STX that was originally displayed by Subaru (again, it is a bit underpowered). I did see a possible SVX replacement in some auto show news - the B11s, which has a twin turbo flat-6 with something like 400 horses and a five-speed automatic. I doubt that will ever make serious production though.

I saw an article on the B11 in my 'drive' magazine that Subaru sends me. I think it looks pretty cool. I also think that it's sweet that the new president of Fuji Heavy Industries wants to, 'revolutionize Subaru design.' You can't go wrong with someone with that kind of plan in charge.

hey be-wald...is it an RS, or an L? And yeah, that B11 is nuts. Isn't that the one with the crazy lookin front end? That thing is WIERD.

That's the new B11. At least a drawing from that article I mentioned above. I can scan and post the article on Monday if anybody's interested. Oh, and for a better quality version of that picture check here.

I'll post that article on Monday, I have to go to campus and scan it since I don't have a scanner, and I can't get a picture of it to turn out.

Currently it's a concept car, so it's not even set up for production or anything else yet, so I'm sure they don't have prices.

RS's are the coolest cars around....L's are retarded. I have an L. The RS has a 2.5 liter engine, the L has a 2.2. 165hp compared to 140hp. RS has a hood scoop, sweet front bumper...L has shit. But here's some bad pics of my car anyways:

I've got an old school 87 Subaru GL wagon. It goes slow up hills, but with 4 Lo it will keep going, even pulls out trucks that get stuck because they sink into the snow, hehe.

ok, need an opinion here. right now I have an STI Titanium knob. it totally kicks ass, looks great, feels better, nice and small, but it sits really tall, and it's too hot to touch in the summer. So I was thinking of getting a MOMO Air Leather knob, which isn't screwed on, it uses set screws, so I can cut my stick lower, and put the knob on. Plus this knob sits lower anyways. It would look great too, but its bigger, which might be nice, but I'm so in love with my STI knob! So what do you guys think? STI or MOMO??!?!?!

wow, forgot about this thread. Haha, for the record I went with the MOMO and it is by far the best shift knob around.

That was years ago though, jesus. My car sure has changed since then.

Dont worry, its a controlled slide.

Yeah, I did. Like I said, I got the MOMO a few years ago, and LOVE it. Its sooo nice.
