XtRemE11, if you think a forester with full time awd can outperform an suv with selectable 4wd you're crazy. Don't even compare it to a pathfinder, the clearence alone sets them apart, not to mention the whole locking hubs side of the occasion. People buy sti's over evo's mostly because of reliability issues. wrx's since 2006, have had 2.5l engines. In 2002 the wrx was the fastest 2l. Most people don't buy wrx's as dedicated track cars, they buy them as 4 door daily drivers that can rip ass in the snow and gravel. lol, fuck that dude in the miata. I can also bet you've never driven a wrx off dry pavement if you think it's slow or handles poorly. Anyway, the OP should just get a Jeep srt8 and call it a day.

well, im gona go ahead and call bullshit on a wrx being the fastest 2.0, a saab 9-3 will be way faster than a wrx stock for stock.
but ill agree with ya on getin a srt8, those cars are sooooo damn sexy. i love that body kit and the center exhaust is so sick. not to mention theyll smoke so many cars that think they are the shit.

The WRX gets 113.5 hp/liter. The 9-3 only gets 105. 113.5 Is practically unheard of, especially in anything under 50k.

alli could find in terms of 2l is a 9-2x( same as a wrx wagon) and a wrx wagon. the wrx beat the 9-2x by .3
but also do you know of a site with a bunch of 0-60 times adn q/m times for stock cars, cause i wanna see what mine will run stock

i dont know, ive got a friend with a pathfinder and it is pretty damn shitty offroad, plus i dont mean just pathfinders, but most the cars that pass as suv's, half of them are pretty much mini vans with an suv body, that couldnt offroad for shit.
i have driven an sti, actually ive had probably an hour worth of snow driving in one and even more on the road, and i wasnt that pleased, it was still a great performing car, but im just saying that the evo out performs it in pretty much every catagory easily, if you went and drove them hard back to back you would be able to easily tell the difference, the sti is a great sports car, better than most, but the evo is one of the best sports cars ever made, easy. and evo's arent bad for reliability at all, maybe a little worse than most japanese cars, but still more reliable than most other cars.
and what about a dude in a miata?
