this was probally the funniest thing ive ever seen in a thrread ive made , lol +k to you for the epic post

Why would you need two subs? Just for the sake of having huge bass? I don't know much about car audio, but I feel like a single sub would be plenty of power. Not calling you out, just genuinely curious here.

JL Audio makes really good stuff, but is expensive. Also, there is a lot of fake JL product out in the market. I have the Infinity Basslink II and enjoy it.

Rockford fosgate I used to have 2 15s and a 12 inche mtx 7000 with a 1200 watt amp. Shit was like thunder. See if you can get a 3 tens sealed enclosure Crutch field is expensive but they have pretty good shit

if you are going to spend money on new sound system, i dont see why one would half ass it. also the bass at lower volumes is dope too

I would be careful with that amp/sub combo.

Power handling for the sub is listed at 200watts RMS at 4ohm, 400watts peak at 4ohm

The amp is listed as mono 1000watts at 4ohm. As it doesn't explicitly state, we can assume this means peak and not RMS. So assume about half that will be RMS, so 500watts RMS at 4ohm. This is a full 100watts higher than maximum for the peak power handling of the amp. Pump it a little too high and consider your sub blown. Try and find a sub and amp that have better matched power handling: that is the RMS power of the amp matches that of the sub.

Furthermore, in a smaller car like an X3 a sealed sub makes the most sense.

rigging up subs really isn't THAT hard to do, just message around your friends and find somebody who knows there shit and has done it before. Or take it to a car audio shop and have them install it.

Alpine makes some nice speakers. You can find type r 12's for around 120 a piece. You'd have to expand your budget a little bit for an amp but after that your set.

my favorite cars to be in are cars with two 10's. More responsive then a single 12, and sound far better depending on how much you have to spend.

Sub and amp are a good match 275/250watts RMS respectively, but the amp is a refurb. I would NEVER buy a refurbed amp.

That Boss brand amp is horrible. Stick with a respected name brand. Also amp is way too powerful for that sub.

for three hundred bucks you can buy all the shit you need from walmart but if you want some good subnoise youll have to spend a little more for better quality sub and amp

also its pretty expensive to install if you dont do it yourself, it can be like 70+ dollars an hour. My advise is to watch some youtube videos and learn install hahah good luck man
