I dont get this:

"In what was undoubtedly the tightest race in the competitions brief history, he narrowly edged out a super talented field of contenders from around the globe, including most notably David Beaulieu, whose submission displayed a bag of tricks and urban prowess topping many seasoned pros and veteran ski-industry rockstars alike."

So he's pretty much saying

"beaulieu is better, but wallisch wins.."???

I think he's just giving props to DB for being runner up to the contest, like, not discounting his video, which was pretty sick...

ok, read this part as slowly as you need to understand that he's saying DB is among the pro skiers :

whose submission displayed a bag of tricks and urban prowess topping many seasoned pros and veteran ski-industry rockstars alike."

"a bag of tricks and urban prowess topping many seasoned pros and veteran ski-industry rockstars alike."

"topping many seasoned pros and veteran ski-industry rockstars alike."

"pros and veteran ski-industry rockstars alike."

either way i dont think any of those guys are quite superunknown anymore..its just a matter of who gets recognized sooner than others

but thats just me

i wouldnt go as far to say db killed wallisch on urban...come on now wallish was so solid on urban how can you say that? ha jesus.

I'm sure he would say the same about Wallisch...... Its implied by saying he won. Slowly read between the lines and stop over analyzing this one

Wow, are you kidding me? David did an unnatural lip 270 onto a rail, and fucking 270d that HUGE down rail. Oh not to mention a 450 on, 270 out on a (as I was told) scary-ass un-skirted park rail. Plus his jumps killed it and everyone knows DB can destroy jumps. Just to bad he didn't show more of it in his video.

thats true none of these guys are unknown anymore because we all make them out to be God's here on NS and post thousands of threads about them.

not to diss anybody, but DB should be the winner. the technical tricks on the urban show u how he is. and for EVERYBODY who saw last year SU video from DB, we know that he killed it on jumps too. props wallisch, but for the ratio time of the video and tricks.... db is the winner... imagine 6 minute of DB, it would be unbelivable

great... so he tried to claim "unknown" last year. Almost won in a close decision, has another year and makes even more of a name for himself. So what next, enter superunknown again wtf??!!? Clearly he's not unknown

almost as wack as cosco submitting

He was invited after Jon saw him in the PC park. Which was after the Superunknown videos were due. Jon didn't know who he was before going to PC.

db sure did kill wallish on urban

lip unatural switch up

unatural 270 in switch out lip 270 in switch out

270 in pretz 270 out

270 in to the fucking down rail aprox 60 feet long switch out

and go on youtube type in david beaulieu you'll shit your pants

i give props to wallish he sure does kills

but besides DB and T-dub curtis bolduc, hands down is the most superduperunknown. thats why he should have won. hes still not sponsered, and he can slide a round bar all the way to the end. thats pretty hard.

Ok, you are all basing your decision that DB should have won on 4 tricks? Think of what tom had the DB didn't. A whole bunch of park things. who cares if it was small stuff, or boxes....

i think he meant to say that he has a secret crush on david but tom is a really scary guy and you don't want to upset tom. soo he just played it cool and pretended to be in love with tom. to sum up the story on the honeymoon josh poisons tom and he goes off to live happily ever after with david..

ok all the vids were good, wallisch is amazing, DB is amazing, theyre both amazing, Berman probly just picked wallisch cuz he thought he would be better to film with, its all about the film

He's saying that it was a tought decision due to the fact that db also showed a bag of tricks that were better than a lot of the well known pros today.

Everyone has to understand that the comp could have easily gone either way. If Beaulieu won, there would be a ton of kids saying that Wallisch should have won. There's no point in arguing it anymore so just let it be and let Wallisch enjoy the win.

who the fuck cares if there a pretzel on box our switch up or whatever little park jib i'd rather see 4 trick of urban rail then 100 on box

Tom's urban isn't sufficient? you would rather see a 1 minute urban segment rather than a 5 minutes segment that is more well rounded and has almost just as good urban minus 4 or so shots? That sucks. So you would buy a 5 minute all urban ski movie for the same price as a 30 minute movie with more skiing outside of the streets.

box tricks r pretty boring if u ask me

i concur that walish have great skills..but i don't think skiing should go in that way(by that way i mean box tricks)

so that's why my vote goes the db
