Style

With all this Tanner and Brogan shit goin on, I figured I'd have my say. I am a Tanner and Brogan fan btw.

In my opinion (my opinion does not necessarily have to be yours too. I am not forcing it on you) neither of them have really been the best portrait of what style really is. I think changing the way you normally ride by trying to be more G, or wearing gigantic clothes (not hating on baggy outerwear) is the farthest thing from what style is. Well actually it is a style... But it's 90% of what skiers styles are these days. Basically trying to have style is the farthest thing from having style (or I guess your own style that is exclusive to you and the wat you ski) , if that makes sense to anyone else but me. The skiers I admire most and who's styles are the most original and exclusive to them, are people like Tanner Rainville (who I think has the most natural free flowing style out there), Dave Crichton and Pep Fujas.

Hate Meh but thats how I see it.

i dont think clothing is a huge part of style. alot of clothing is comfort. style is how easy you make things look in my opinion. like watching sammy throw his flat fives. its like nothing. so nice.

i kind of dont understand your entire post... but one thing that has always bothered me if you consider clothing choice as a reflection of style is that i think some people dress outrageous and different not because that's the way they feel, but just becasue they want to be different and want attention.

pretty much i think some go along with this kind of idea, "oh man, if i can just wear something that nobody has ever thought of, people will see i'm different and immediatly assume i have a unique style, even though its not really my self expression" a.k.a. being fake

maybe i'm totally wrong but things that are completly unnecessary (like hanging feathers from your pants?) how do things like that pertain to skiing??

I like to think my style is a combination of pep fujas, tanner rainville, and dave crichton, pretty much makes me the sexiest man alive.

I think that if Brogan choses to ski the way he does because he thinks it has more style then let him. Most of the time Brogans ride away is just so easy to see because he just stomps the shit out of his trick. Its skiing, why hate on anyones style just because its not yours. Jacob has no right to hate on Brogan just like we dont, the fact that hes pro changes nothing. Have your own style, have fun, and ski, dont waste your time hating.

i think style comes from being really comfortable in the air and with your tricks. Like how twall stomps his trick and looks like he just stepped out of a car, it doesnt even phase him.

You seemed to contradict yourself on many points, and Brogan's style is his, and I would definately put it up there with Rainville and Crichton as being unique. His is just more easily replicated, and there have been way to many of theses threads. They all end the same with basically ski how you wanna ski, and don't hate on others' styles.
