what do you guys consider style. I think it is the way you do the trick, and how you make it different from everyone elses.what do you think?

Yeah, its not just tricks, its normal skiing too. Everyone is different in the way they get to the jumps, not just in the way the do it in the air.

no matter how bad they are,

its not just a smooth looking trick,

its what makes that trick different

and the more you ski the better it will look

if a trick looks and feels how you see it in your head

then it probably looks good

to me. style isnt about the difficulty of trick. its how u look not just up in the air but coming up into the jump, landing, sliding rails all that. tanner has style and so does crichton. each of their styles are completly different.

style is a broad topic. Within style their are threads of types of style. Whether it be laid back, or really solid. Everything is a style. The question is what is the best style and what looks the best. but everyone has their own preferences and opinions on what looks sick. Ride your way, ride hard, and be happy with it.

If it looks smooth and natural its gonna look sweet, if it looks out of place it just wont work

no matter how shitty u r u still have ur own style.. its very shitty style but u have it... style is ur way of throwing a trick that being dope or shitty.. my theory is u obtain style from learning basics first then eventually evolving those basics into more complicated shit.. unlike a lotta people who learn basics along with complicated at the same time
