I am sick of everyone talking all this style shit, first of all there is no real deffinition of style anyway, everyone only talks about it cause the pros do. I would rather see someone throw a 1440 all fast and tucked up than a 'stylie' 720. Why you ask, because a 1440 is fuckin crazy, anyone can do a 720. This also goes for double backflips. All this 'style' shit is played out. There are sloppy tricks and good tricks. PERIOD

i am not talking about gay areail tricks here, just the word style should not be used since it is so vague and has ne deffinate meaning. style is not everything, u gotta give props to the crazy tricks.

 
theres style in everything: hip hop, snowboarding, skateboarding, skiing, fuckin chess even. Its the way YOU do it... whether your style be lanky and loose or smoooth and compact its all style baby.

yeah this whole style trend is played out, you guys all suck. everyone should just hit jumps as fast as they cant, huck as hard as they can, and hopefully land back on there feet after at least 6 spins or 3 flips. if your really good, you might also tap your skis really litely and call it a grab. man whoever started this is a punter

everyone has style. style is in what way you ski. my style is that i go off the jump and do a 360 grab and it looks more hucked than a 1440. thats my style. hoping to improve, but thats what it is now.

yea dude...your fucking gay...style is everything. It just means doing a trick different from the way other people do it. Whats wrong with that. I would rather see a really stylish 180 (meaning that there is a unique grab, some type of tweak, and real slow spinning) rather than some shitty ass, out of control 360

 
Style does not need a meaning, it is whatever you can bring to the sport of skiing. People look at one style, like arials(sp), and think it is really gay...which it is for people who like to see the fluidity of skiing, not who can do the craziest shit. Seeing a fucking moron spin a 1440 pinned out and recieving tons of praise makes me angry inside. Now, seeing a 1440 slow and controlled with or without a grab is much more impressive not to mention the hang time one must obtain to do a slow 1440. Trust me, anyone can do a 1440 if the really wanted to but not to many people can do it with good style. Good style these days is considered to be, not necessarily super slow but every motion is defined and there isn't much flailing of the arms or rest of the body...everything is one fluid motion. Anyone who thinks other wise can suck my cock and start taking ballerina lessons...I'm sure you will do fine is you spin 1440's.
