in reading this forum everyone seems to talk a lot about style. sure style is really important but it seems to me that in skiing or at least from the skiers on this site that it is so contrived. it seems that most of u accept who ur told is stykie like everyone seems to like eric pollard and tanner hall because ur told they are stylie instead of creating their own opinions on who has style

i think pretty much anyone who has a fairly compact body position when in the air, and does slow, effortless looking spins has major style. also i think that when the skis arent crossed it looks much better. for this reason i like pollard and then dorian is good most of the time.

^^^yea man dash in steroetype was quite possibly my favorite seg of all time. spinnin super slow 5s and 3s and sliding rails so smooth and no muscle, weird how that movie is mikeals part was probably my second favorite

Mikeal Deshanaux hands down holy shit he is good and he isnt really noticed it seems cause he is in like no ads, and has really short segments if any at all

 
belanger has sick style in pipe, that world x games shit in whisler last year he killed, he didn't even boast super high but he had good control and landed super smooth practically every time, yea dumont is awesome and goes super big but he lands shakey sometimes and does an occasionally flail, but its hard to land perfect and not flail when being close to 25 feet out... but personally a better short air with a long grab and smooth spin beats a 25 foot flail any day in my book...

i don't know about rails and style... like candides 810 had style to it and looked nice... but most of the time doing tech on rails involves rapid spin and sometimes looks uncontrolled and over hucked... very very few people have real style on rails

but sometimes its not about style and its about just being able to do something shakey like a 1260 in pipe or a bio 1440, it can look cool without style

u idiot the opossite of some idiot hucking them self on some jump doing some shitty shit is beeing smooth and controled. eric and tanner are the essence of being in control and smooth so obviously every one thinks or at least should think that they have the best style. im not saying that u have to be a gurilla to be stylie just make sure your smooth and controled and develope your own style.
