Stupid question

I cant find any info at all on 1bdrms in Truckee area, where do you all find your places to live?

I have family in Reno I guess we will just stay with them for a week until we find something in Truckee, or else settle for Reno but Im not excited about driving that far to ski everyday so any advice? Its me and my girl, and all we really need is a bed.
 
For the right price^. i just looked in the paper and roomates.com but it was kinda gay i got some sketchy offer's. "Hi, im 42 and have a place in tahoe vista, i have a bedroom for you and bath but you have to share the house with me and my 42 cat's" fuck that , remember living in a closet is better than sleeping in kitty litter.
 
In truckee, turns out a boardshop here in town had a friend out there who i have met before. Its not a done deal yet so I will keep the details to myself until the check clears, but ill def be hitting squaw with some pro/expro riders.
 
ill be riding alpine and boreal for sure.

sounds like dude im renting from might get me a gig at squaw working parking lot like 6-9am and then come back at 2-5pm for a pass so we will see.....

sounds for sure that I will ski a bit with JT Holmes and Sterbenz.
 
come on now, someone needs to take a picture of this infamous closet.....you all have me curious.

is nick calskierx? if so i remember him being the self proclaimed ski slut for the season......does that have something to do with whoring out this closet so to speak?
 
haha, it's small about 3 feet accross but long. you can't really stand up in it because Nick has clothes kinda stuffed in a nook in the ceiling. it slopes down as it goes towards the back. I think it's under some stairs or something.

To be honest it's a pretty good place to sleep though. It's walking distance to 2 gas stations and right above a bagel/coffe shop.
 
plus, nicks just cool!! and everyone likes to say they slept in the closet at least once in their lives.
 
no big deal dude, if you knew the whole story it was just funny how it worked out. Meeting people from WI that live with pros in tahoe, and finding a place when we havent been able to find anything....If it came off cocky wasnt meant that way, Im just excited to get out there and excited to ski, last year this time i had ten days in co and four days in wisconsin already, plus I have brand new invaders and chronic wides Im excited to break in.

Hell, all I need right now is a patch of snow and a small rail and Ill be smiling ear to ear.

As far as the closet goes, throw a party, get me drunk, and it will likely be my home for the evening.
