Stupid question but important

im just getting over strep throat and im finishing my penacillin, is it ok that i still drink. like will penacillin have any affect with alcohol, im guessing not, but theres probably someone here that knows more than i do.
 
I'm pretty sure penicillan doesn't. However, it is not smart to drink on any medication at all, even pain killers. Granted, it isn't too bad for the majority of meds. If the alcohol and the prescription had a multiplicative effect (can't remember the name of this) it would tell you on the bottle and specifically say not to consume any alcohol while taking the drug.
 
+ karma for you because i've seen you reply in the last 4 or 5 threads i viewed, and all of the responses were either helping someone out or explaining something...not just another S3ARCHBAR N00B!!!!
 
you should be fine.. but always be careful with meds con alc.  so many people top themselves that way.. eta dangerous.
