Dear Mr. Burg,

I am very sorry for the inconvenience of breaking the lock last week. It was a very stupid and an irresponsible thing for me to do and it will not happen again. It was wrong for me to deface someone else property, and shouldn’t have happened. At the time I was not thinking that we could break the lock or cause trouble for anyone. We thought it was just harmless fun and failed to realize the trouble it caused you and the other administrators. I am very sorry for what I did and it will not happen again. I realize now that tampering with something that doesn’t belong to me isn’t right and shouldn’t have happened in the first place. It was very childish of me and I should have known it was wrong. I know what I did was wrong and fully accept the consequences that follow my actions.

"I am very sorry for the inconvenience of breaking the lock last week. It was a very stupid and an irresponsible thing for me to do and it will not happen again."

Every sentence past these two seem redundent.

dont be so direct...make your sentences more vague and detailed. try to prolong apology..dont just apologize at the very begining of the letter. prolong everything

Yeah, I tried to pick the lock to the social room with a paperclip but then it broke off in the lock...so we sat in the hallway all class and I didn't even get in trouble.

I actaully like your letter. good job. My brother got in trouble in 5th grade for breaking into school on a weekend... what an idiot, why would he want to be in school anymore than you have to.
