We still get old geze bindings in with exploded backs and people get so mad when we tell them that it's not somehting that can be fixed.
I also had a guy get pretty pissed at me two days ago when i told him his bindings weren't indemnified and i wouldn't touch them. The bindings were easiliy about as old as me (22) and he goes off on a bitch fest about how ski shops are always trying to gouge him for money and he's not made of money and he's sick of buying something new each year. Then i told him that's rediculous b/c by the looks of these skis, he hasn't bought anything new for atleast 15 years.
and i get atleast a dozen kids in each day asking "how much is your cheapest goggle (a smith basic for 18 bucks)" then they try them on and ask "are these good goggles...are they gonnna fog?"
and the kids who ask "are these good jumping skis?"
and "do you sell snowblades?"
oh, and when i say the cheapest pair of goggles is 18 bucks, the kids who then point to the oakley case in front of them and say "ok, i'll take the white pair with the orange lenses"
Me: "well those are $140"
kid:"but you said they were $18"
