The new pipe on whis licks. It is too steep, not enough flat bottem and for some reason very easy to deck on. zi suffered a serious concussion from it (i think) and cannot rember about 5 hours of monday. The pros at the global X couldnt even stick their shit in it. This is just me venting cus im sitting here typing with one arm because my shoulder is fucked. Anyone else feel the same about the new pipe? And dont give me any 'you must suck at pipe' cus i dont and im prob better than you at it...

K, i used to live in vancouver then moved to CO. So i've skied a fair number of halfpipes. I think blackcomb's is flatter than the majority in CO. both have advantages

i gotta agree with you...the last sprite series pipe comp i decked out left and right on like two 10 ft straight airs...after training i dropped out...but the day of the comp it was so sick...still a bit under vert but it was $$

i'v only skied like 3 pipes in my life...stratton...steamboat...and vail...at the time steamboats was the steepest and i loved it...on a 5 foot air u'd travel hella far down and it was sick plus they had just cut it the nite b4 i left

back in ontario at blue mountain they have a pipe that is almost the same as blackcombs... except it is too flat. you loose all your speed by the time you get to the end and you can hardly even get out. it sucks. I would rather have it too steep than too flat... if it is flat you can't get more speed... if it is steep you can always speed check or just take more hits.
