Although i find this funny, I don't want to believe it is true. That being said I was not too impressed when we managed to convince some chicks in California that Canada used a metric clock and it was hour 84 and thats why we were tired, although young people know both time systems because of American TV.
 
Not all americans or Brits are idiot, but some happen to be completely retarded and others are just dumb. Its not fair to judge a whole country on only a few people.

there are people that stupid.  friend at school didnt know new hampshire was a state and thought connecticut was in the midwest... he lives in new york.
 


I doubt the 'interviews' were staged. Definitely if you ask enough people you're going to find some some real idiots...slightly sickening...but funny nonetheless.
 
well, its probly not "staged" but there's one part when someone's like "oh i dont have any intelligent guess.." or something like that and the interviewer is like "well then would you like to make a stupid guess?" They probly weren't AS stupid as they seemed on the vid, but that old ass guy that didn't know about Hiroshima or Nagasaki was fucked up!
 
That did seem really unusual (for lack of a better word) that somebody that age didn't know anything about Hiroshima...
