ok so i have made a summer setup and its pretty legit nice rail and stuff but about 4 ft after the landing we had to cut a tree and the stump was still there its WONT COME OUT weve tryed everything from fire to every tool around the house. I know your thinking use a chainsaw idiot but we dont have one we have an axe, crowbar, small saw, and a broken shovel pretty ghetto i know weve gonna at it for about 7 days now and weve gotten it small but still coming out of a 270 will still hurt if you hit it any ideas on what we should do now

idk if its true but i heard if u wrap a piece of metal around it than hammer it down and pour water on it everyday it will eventually poison it and kill it

Tell a redneck its a cherry or chestnut tree and they will try to pull it up with a wench or something. They value those woods for some reason.

jsut build a bigger fire on it and let it burn for a long time then it will be really small and mostly ash

before your rip off your friend's tow hitch, or blow his transmission, think about a tree's root system. the bigger the tree , generally the deeper and wider the roots are. Going to be a lot better off getting a small excavator, or backhoe to help pull/digg it up, while snapping/cutting the roots. If you can't get your hands on any rigs, pickaxe and pry bar are going to be your new best friends. Or you could go old school with explosives. But you really need to get the roots cut, make life easy.

i know theres some sort of chemical that you can buy at the hardware store that kill the stomp and deteriorates it from the inside. if you get some of that after a couple of days you should be able to cut it away with an axe or whatever hasnt been working so far pretty easily. hope that helps.

Oh yeah, I had that problem too, I have such a great secret to get em' out.

So, you go to the store and buy milk. Place the milk in your room and let it sit for 2 weeks (unrefrigerated because the curdled milk is better) Pour the milk on your carpet and then leave your room.

Go get a hose, and then go out to the stump and run water over it, go back up to your room and smell the stank.

Then, after the stump is wet, go out and buy a chainsaw.

Cut that shit up, return to smelly room.

Its fool proof.

make suree you do the milk part properly, as it is key. Make sure it is 1% milk as well. use any other type of milk and your screwed.

how big a stump is it? if it's relatively small you could try digging all around it and cutting off the roots with the axe.
