Today I saw geese flying south, I got happy.

I also saw leaves changing colours, I got happy.

What makes NS happy in Fall?
 
Smell of smoke on your close from bonfires on weekends

friday night football games

birthday

cool weather

ski season hype!!!!!

outdoors parties when its cold ( idk why i enjoy those so much )

homecoming

smell of cinnamon candles in my house

and other things i cant get out of my brain right now.
 
Ski Swaps

Making money mowing lawns and raking leaves

Feeding/baiting squirrels then having my dog chase them

Seeing that first sign of flurries

Jumping on crunchy leaves

Cool and blustery afternoons

Getting darker earlier

The thought that winter will be here soon enough
 
Getting to wear flannel and jeans again, knowing ski season is that much closer, and those dickhead mosquitos not flying around your ears anymore

and hot chocolate and cool fall breezes BIGGUP

and above all, that fact that winter is closer and when it starts snowing! :)

When I was younger my family would go all together to get a christmas tree and the place always had the best apple cider /nostalgia
 
that first october snow. halloween. moving to Sugarloaf. counting down days until Sugarloaf is supposed to open.
 
I remember that one, also I happen to have to agree that apple cider could be the most delicious drink in the world.
 
Wearing long sleeve shirts and hoodies, the leaves changing, winter hype, being able to drink hot coffee in the morning, not sweating to death when you're doing anything (especially trying to fall asleep), the first flurry, bonfires, cold outdoor parties. I think fall is my favorite season. Period.

And people from Maine... Shipyard Pumpkinhead anybody!? Definitely one of the best parts of fall.

Walking around when you can see your breath, and listening to ISOS 6 while you watch the bluebird sky and the sunrise. Summer album makes me want to ski more.

... i also used to get really excited about the start of x-country season because it was always the perfect temperature for running and we'd be in the woods all the time
 
why do they seem so much more epic in the fall?i'm watching it set over COP as we speak and it is gorgeous. my rez room has floor to ceiling windows so i get to see it set practically every night while i eat dinner and i'm always surprised by it.
 
the colors, the sounds of a buck crunching leaves while i sit 30 feet up and watch, deer season, world series, and of course the pending snow

Closer to ski season
