.just got accepted to my study abroad program at peking university for next semester, and i'm sooo pumped. i'm gonna be there for 6 months

anyone else interested in china? i've been taking chinese for 3 years - hardest thing i've ever had to learn. i guess theres a couple of resorts around beijing too....i bet the snow is brown.

i've been to china before, it was a lot of fun. i think you will like beijing, good luck at the university

yo bro what part of China are you gonna be living in exactly? i live in Singapore and it'd be hella rad to meet a fellow newschooler way out here. im going to be in Hong Kong in April this year so if you can make it over there hit me up man.

dunno how you'll like it, but ive lived in too many corners of the world that im pretty much over the whole new experience thing. Singapore, all of China and Dubai are the next world centers of power though, so it aint so bad to live here.

My cousin is teaching english in china now and one of my uncles tried to stop him because his friends son was killed when he went and his girlfriend is still somewhere over there but they dont know if shes dead in jail or what

go to hong kong! aka space age city.....you'll know what i mean when you get there

Asia can be scary. here in Singapore they can tap your phone lines, they censor every single piece of mail that leaves the island and the internet is randomly monitored.

you can also be arrested for saying anything about the government. anything. they probably wouldn't arrest you for saying positive stuff, but they can.
