STS9 @ Red Rocks 9/10 and 9/11

Mmmmm if only. Was the one concert at Red Rocks I was really looking forward to this summer (mainly for Thievery who rarely comes to Colorado and would be soooo epic at Red rocks) but I'm going out of town on late notice and will be missing it.

Ya'll enjoy now....and if you're not going you should be.

just look for the short kid in the green SF hat, a camelpack and a bright flannel. I'll be with an obscenely tall kid sothe contrast in heights should make it easier to spot. we're leaving on a party bus from denver at 6 so we'll be in the south lot partying until Thievery comes on.

Theivery was soooo incredible, their music was so powerful and red rocks was the PERFECT venue. Tribe was super sick as well, great set list, lots of songs I love!
I actually won free tix for saturday night from Big G, but when I got there, they said they didnt have record of it :( But I messaged Dom on fb and he said he'd hook me up with the next show :)
 
Thievery killed it. I was blown away by their set. Ghostland was OK, just a standard Ghostland show but Big G threw down hard too.... not to mention STS9...
 
Ya i figured Theivery would be on point there.

They rarely tour Colorado so you all are lucky to have seen them, last time they came was 2 years ago at the Fillmore and it twas sweet.

Damn....mad I missed it.
 
Actually, Thievery plays at least annually, sometimes biannually at the Belly Up in Aspen. It's usually just a DJ set but they play the full band too sometimes. Never had the opportunity to see them there since it's so incredibly overpriced though (like $80) but it sells out every-time they play there.
 
Thievery was the highlight of both nights. I really enjoyed the first night of STS9 more than the second. Such quality production value throughout the entire weekend.

This'll be EOTO show numba 5 for me, 3 of which at the mish! STOKED! Anyone who is down with electro jams, check 'em out. They aren't for everyone, its true, but trust me if you like em, you'll love em!
Anyone in foco should just go anyway, cause the mish is the shit.
 
word, i've never been to the mish and i really want to go but zion i is playing friday too and i might not even go to that b/c of lack of money from this wekeend and it being my friend's 21st. it would be my 6th time seeing zion i though...
 
hahah damn man, I guess we all have our musical addictions... Ive still never seen zion I, but Ive been listening to them for sooo long...
hope you make it to the mish sometime. i heard rumors that they just got busted by the DEA... again, so hopefully they don't get shut down. It really is the best venue in CO and they've been getting some super fucking sick shows lately!
 
don't believe in rumors my man. i'm sure the mish will survive and i know i will make it out soon. i'm just strapped for cash right now and i'm saving up for Lotus and Bassnectar.
 
yeah, after posting that I talked to some friends who randomly brought the topic up. so yeah... apparently it's true. i need to get there before close for good.
 
Yeah man this might be the last weekend EVER! Holy shit that hurts to say that... I really hope someone who is down with the scene buys it. Come to EOTO man, Its a great time really! If you havent seen them live, def. do it, they are a very special live show.

Yeaaaaahhh, about that. it's my friend's 21st bday party tomorrow night. she bought an entire keg of Hoptober and thinks we're going to leave FoCo around 9am. We'lllll see about that. gimme a holler though.
