Stretch your coat?

okay im a complete and total newb to newschoolers. anyway i was wondering if there is anyway to stretch you ski coat to make it longer?

Cut up another coat and sew it on the bottom of your current one..

Man if you want a longer/bigger jacket then just buy a bigger one.
