I bought a pair of the '04 scraches and i hear that they develop stress cracks. Im the kinda person dsnt really care about cosmetics as long as there is snow on the ground. Do these cracks effect anything but looks?

pressure cracks, and if you bring em back to the place you got em, you should be able to get a brand new replacement pair.

it does effect the ski more than cosmetics. but im not completley sure what it does. i think it screws with the stiffness/flex of the ski

It's not a real big deal, you won't really notice while skiing. But it should be covered under warranty anyways.

stress crack for the most part are NOT covered under any warranty...it happens...wether you are park skiing or a beginner...honestly, I dont think anyone is gonna cover a stress crack in a ski...if they do let me so I can buy that ski.....I'll have a new pair every week!!

i dunno, i mean the girl was cool, but the red/orange was such an obnoxious color for a ski
