streaming video on macs.

How do I get streaming video to work on my powerbook? X games raw does not work, says safari does not support...etc. Then it tries to open it in windows media, but it never connects...any ideas? It does not work in IE either. I am on a proxy if that would affect it at all.

its prolly real media player.....and that shits gayer than windows media player....and windows media players prettty daaaamn awful.

I've found winamp to be handy in a fix too.

how do i watch it w/ those programs? it automatically says i dont have the plugin

flip4mac is a plugin for windows media player, there are some radio streaming sites that still wont work for me though.
