I have hear so many people talking about how shitty stratton is, i heard on person say that they had

1 rail up on the entire mountain about a month ago. What changes if aany have been put in place to acomidate Young gun open and What will the course for VTO be like? info from anyone from stratton would be greatly apreciated

i havent seen the sun bowl where all the stuff is usally held but the main mountain really sucks 6 rails total which are like 2 flat bars a couple flat boxes and a wide short box then there are some jumps that mostly sucked and a spine that was kinda fun and lastly a really icy pipe

i really hope all you competitors get something better than what ive been seeing all year and for the VT open that should be good as long as weather holds well because htey use the us open stuff which is most definitely going to be sick as long as it doesn tmelt

lets put it this way

stratton hasnt had a good park this year

however all the features for the us snowboarding open and VT open are built by outside contractors that bring more cats and know how to build pipe, the rails are donated by burton. all stratton does is host the US open and make snow for it mabye provide a few cats. they dont deserve the credit they get for it. the park for Vt open and Us snowboarding open will be incredible and the dopest park in the east tho.

they always bring in a professional park crew to build for the vt open and us open- so the park will be sic

hopefully the YGO course won't suck ass...i wish they could have it on the US/VT Open course.

i think that the ygo set up is whats in burnside unless they switched it since last weekend. it starts off with a flat down box to a realy small jump like 15-20, then to another 20-25 that bosts you a little. then a 30-40 that kicks you huge or you can hit a down rail after that is a high box and lastly a 25-30 thats wicked nice

so flat down box, 20 foot kicker, 25 foot kicker, 35ish foot kicker, down rail, high box, 30 foot kicker.... hmm.... sounds ok i geuss, i would like to have one jump thats a little larger and more rails but oh well...

thats what they have laying around not what they have set up they have a pile of that stuff behind a building

great, you can find stats on their website, but barely any of that is true as of now. feel free to correct me, but as far as i know there is only one pipe, and barely ANY of those rails are set up, and there isnt a single step up anywhere on the mountain. I personally like the park set up this year, but there are definitely not 30+ rails and boxes. Including the TINY ones on the baby park, I can only count about 14 rails/boxes.

or "wow, theres no place to put those" i dont think theres anywhere else to put those rails, they are pretty much using all of their park space with what they got up, except they should take down that gay nastar course and make it a little rail garden or somethin.

they have room they can make it so there is an option to hit one thing or another

dont sweat it, they are doing a bunch of work on the course for me. i was there last week and it was alredy good, it's going to be that much better when we're done tweaking it.

i'll be there friday to ride it and make sure its all good.

name one place. they already have multiple rails next to each other so you can choose what to hit. the only place i can think of would be next to the halfpipe.

the only place on the side of the power park that doesnt have anything set up is right next to the halfpipe, which i already said they could put something. the rest of the trail has either rails or that gay nastar course.

The nastar course isn't set up anymore as far as I know. Maybe they only do it on certain days?

^ that was only for the boarding us open, and fourtunatly they left it up untill the vtopen for the railjam so no, no stairs

old school jibs, flat down rail,4 jumps up rail, down rail, and step up box in some kind of order it be two differnt lines

ok as of this past weekend(3/4-3/5) they have four parks,2 are basically a joke but the bigger of the two you can kinda warm up on if you ski it hard...

Suntanner- (Biggest) flat bar, spine, pipe,1 ok medium jump, down box, and butter box, and maybe 1 more rail (dont remember).

Bryneside- flat down box, jump with two takeoffs smaller being 15ft larger being 20ft both with no kick, 2nd jump that kicks you nicely probably 25-30ft, down rail, high flat box, 3rd jump same as second, and last jump 30-35 that kicks you nicely and is really fun

Old Smoothie- this park is the 3rd biggest out of four, flat box, tiny jump, barrel bonk, trap box, 10 foot jump, up flat rail, butter box

last park is called tyoline but is so small

hope that clears things up
