Stratton opening

You are the 50th person to bitch about the parks. it's old. so stratton took out suntanner, yes i'm hurt no doubt, but lets get on with our lives.

i'll be there, wednesday i believe, i might go hike a little though like on monday or tuesday
and dude ^^ im pretty sure they wont have a full blown park up opening week, maybe a couple boxes and rails so why would no suntanner effect your choice? just wondering, i hope its good weather

Stratton changed their opening date to the 26th due to snow problems last week. It means mad terrain on opening day.

Yeah he goes to SMS. He's out in colorado now and I'll be skiing with him at Stratton opening day.

So yea. Im not a fan of the Suntanner move at all. I think that its a bad idea. But people should lay off Stratton for it because it obviously was a necessary move, probably due to the awful economy that we have at the moment. So I have been e-mailing Stratton about the park and they say that Byrneside will include 50+ foot features, gap on to rails and boxes, and the wall ride. So it seems like they are going to put together a decent park. It should be open late December, weather permitting. Also, the pipe should open mid January, weather permitting. Also, opening day there shoud be a jib/rail park set up on Betwixt. It seems like they aren't forgetting us park riders after all. Im stoked for the upcoming season.

Also, everybody should know that you can now get the Stratton SES pass online. Go to the website and you'll see everything that you need. I did it and am stoked about not having to go to the igloo to get it. (so annoying).

Thats the update, hopefully see people opening day. Peace.

im gonna be up with a couple friends, should be sick. Site says 27 trails open and a couple rails and boxes

Pretty sick today, nice little park, more skiers there than i though there would be, some fun little rails, jumps were a little weird, the first two were ok, the last sucked

what trail was the park on and how big were the jumps? hopefully they're just not really tiny. thanks for any info.

park was on tyroliane or hoe ever you spell it, the jumps were like (small side) maybe 5 feet and 7 feet on the big side, but the third jump probably was like a 7 ft and a 12 ft table, you couldnt get enough speed for it though...

i was there saturday. i sucked. extreme balls. i ate shit on a backflip and got a concussion. and i couldnt 2 on for my life. super pitiful
