Like the 09/10 Stratton thread this thread will be updated as much as possible by myself who skis Stratton 3-7 times a week and everyone else is 100% welcome to post their own updates and videos and all that good stuff. and if you're going to Stratton for the weekend or something let me know and i'd be happy to shred with you if i'm around.

please keep this a hate-free thread and i hope everyone has a dope-ass season.
 
I was there all last weekend and had a nice time. We just need it to snow like no other.
 
I was there last Sunday with the other 3 kids who built that kicker on Yodeler...the bigger one farther down the hill near Tyro.
Probs see ya there this weekend Cole. I know I'll be there with Jason on Friday and Sunday for sure.
 
word! i'll probably be there saturday maybe sunday then pretty much everyday from the 19th to the 4th or something

did some shredding sunday afternoon. they had a few boxes and a rail and we built a little kicker. was a lot of fun. they took the features they had over the weekend out today and they're blowing a ton of snow on tyro right now and since the weather is looking cold for the rest of the week my guess is they'll have a full park, or mini park up by thursday/friday. haven't heard anything else as of yet but they blowing a ton of snow under american express as well so they'll probably have the little jib garden or whatever up by the weekend.

i won't be around to shred the next couple of weekends because of races but make sure you hollar at me if you see me over christmas break!
 
tyro was full of huuuuuge mounds of snow today!!! they stopped blowing and had a cat up there pushing some stuff around and there were probably about 5 mounds of snow all at least as big as a snowcat. i'll try and get a pic of what they're doing to it tomorrow
 
yeah sorry guys. been super busy with catching up in school and racing so i haven't been able to update this much. but i'll probably be there every day after christmas because im gone for the next few days so i'll be down to shred with whoever's around.

but yeah the jumps are not great, but the rail line is definitely fun. the up-rail and the long flat box with a drop at the end are my favorites for sure.

i hit them up on sundays. be back up there jan 9th.

hopefully lower middlebrook will be open.

boardercross course is weak... stratton is really pushing that thing and its the same as last year..
 
Lower Middlebrook is opening today!!! so stoked!!!

Middlebrook was soo dope today!!! had a real good time shredding with a ton of different people and im stoked on the day for sure. should be an edit coming out later today or tomorrow and i'll post it up.
 
j evs i should be skiing park all day thursday! gunna be dope!

and it starts off with a flat down flat box, then a little up canon type thing from the open, then a wall ride, then a flat box, then an up box, then a down single barrel, then some rollers, then a flat box, then a flat gap down box, then some more rollers, then a big up canon thing which is dope, then a flat box, then the rock tap thang from last year, then a ton of rollers where they are supposedly gunna put 6 jumps but we'll see.

haha thanks man. christian and scotty especially. they shred. but middlebrook was soooo much fun today. smashed my heel but whatever haha. should be another edit dropping within the next couple of days.
 
how old are you guys? and i might be skiing saturday but probably not. hope you guys have a good time.
 
17 and 18, were gonna be on a school trip but we have a pretty good amount of freedom at night, were just lookin for some fun shit to do at night
 
any good looking ladies on this school trip? haha but yeah to be honest there isn't too much to do at night (especially if you're under 21) except for going out to dinner. but besides going out to dinner there isn't much. there is a skatepark that might be open called the Stratton Wreck but it's pretty inconsistent. but it's always fun walking around somewhere unfamiliar causing mischief so i'm sure you'll figure out something haha.
 
They have been making snow at the base of lower middlebrook for a few days this week. I skied by it today and saw three surprisingly large mounds of snow for jumps. There were probably a few more higher up on the trail, I just couldn't see them. There wasn't much shaping done to the jumps yet, but it looks like the last one could be around 40 feet. They had several snowcats and a bunch of people working on the park so it should be good to go by tomorrow.
 
the six jumps were a joke. I was reminded again today that stratton sucks at making and maintaining parks.

But shredwood forest and test pilot and the rest of the woods skiing was fucking awesome, albeit a lacking in a good base
 
jump line was terrible, you can't get enough speed for anything but the first two. They were awesome but too big for how much speed you get. rest of the park was sick though
 
word dude i might be out saturday but i might head to killy and watch the dew tour. hopefully the big park will be open by then. they have a bunch of reallyyyy sick rails set up on it right now but they still hhave to build jumps which obviously take a while but we'll see. and the pipe will definitely be open this coming weekend. looks like all they have to do is cut it out a little and put the pipe dragon to work. stoked!
