Straight Razor = Less Razor Burn?

So for my current job I have to shave just about everyday and because I have pretty sensitive skin, I get pretty bad razor burn. A buddy of mine told me to start using a single blade straight old school razor. Just wondering if anyone has had any experience using on of these, and if it has reduced the amount of razor burn. I get the most razor burn on my neck....And no this is not for shaving my balls and there will be no peeing in butts.

Word to the wise, if your thinking of shaving your nads DONT go with a single razor. One testicle short and several stiches later I can confidently say that.

i shave in the shower with a mach 3. you'd be surprised how well it works, since your face is super moist.

i cant vouch for a single blade, but aveeno oatmeal shaving cream has really helped me out; a lot less irritants.

Always shave with the grain. Single blade wont really make a difference. Your skin should get used to shaving after a couple weeks

This will change your life.

I used to have issues with razor burn but now Its very rare, normally super hungover and very dehydrated skin or a dull blade. In the past I would use the most expensive blades because I assumed ths would minimize razor burn (gilette mach 3 turbo etc.). However now I swear by the gilette disposables, they are super cheap and I use one for maybe 2 times and no razor burn. Also shave after showering and try to keep your skin moisturized really helps. Good luck.

Just shave lightly, so what if you have to go back a couple times .. Shave with( in the direction of) your facial hair and dont add any pressure.

I've tried a single and hate them. stick with razor or electric.

Tips: shave right after you shower. Use lotion after and use sensitive cream
