you guys are all really dumb. you can not be straight edge and christian or mormon. straight edge people don't drink or do drugs... but not doing drugs and not drinking does not make you straight edge. Straight edge has nothing to do with skiing. it has everything to do with hardcore music. it is a counter culture scene making a stand against the drinking and drug use and the stupidity that goes on in the urban music scene. basically its saying fuck you to the pop culture that tells you its fine to go have sex with everyone and get drunk and do drugs, and how the club is the place to go to have fun. it revolves around hardcore music and hardcore shows. sooo.... unless you listen to hardcore music, believe that you control your own life, and that drugs alcohol and promiscuous sex are poisons that cloud your thoughts, and make you weak... you are not straight edge.

yea my twin sister is straight edge, skogenchic or whatever her sn is, its fucking annoying. she feels better then us when we are smokinga nd shit and gives us shit that she doesn't wnat tyo be around the smoke (not cigs) its fucking annoying and she listening to horrible straight edge bands and she is getting more and more peircing and tattoos, its fucking gross.

I have some important advice: don't get straight edge tattoos, verrry important.

My friends who did back in the day all got them covered with stupid shit and you WILL get them covered or removed.

And by the way- have fun with it, personally I wish I could have all those years back to drink and hump everything, Now I'm recovering from years of soberiety, and so will you someday- lifes too short

Straight Edge is for sanctimonious pussies who want to have a cooler name then 'People who are too scared to try anything that would make their parents mad.' If you don't want to drink or smoke, you don't have to announce it to the world. I don't drink and I rarely smoke, but I don't feel the need to tell everyone. It's just a way for them to feel better than everyone else.

skiing is the one thing and partiing the other! I never party while skiing and I never sk while partiing. But watching telly being totally stoned is also quite nice, after skiing! cheers

ATLANTASKI you can't be 'straight edge for the most part' it isn't just the drinking and shit. you have to believe in it. there is a lot more too it than you think. the drinking and drugs is a very small part of being edge.
