Can someone tell me why so many ski videos are full of rap and what is with the misfitting clothing?

I read somewhere that the loose fitting clothes makes it easier to do tricks in. Especially if you are doing helicopters.
 
actually, a kid on youtube told me that the lower center of gravity of having your pants low makes it easier to spin quickly. that sounds like legitimate science to me.
 
I dress in ex-german flecktern pants from the 90's and kids seem to think it's dope too bad it's xxll. Lasted me a 140+ days of skiing so far even though it's a bit cut up still does the job. I've always thought kids are taking the piss when they dress with tall tees and all there gear. I would like to know what actually inspired all of this?

expansion of the tall-t while spinning caused by centrugial force makes it act as a parachute therefore giving you more airtime
