STRAFE Outerwear = Joke

had to look this shit up but i guess it just looks like another mountain outerwear brand that makes hideous shit for people who don’t care about what they look like

Not to start an argument about outerwear taste but just some background info on Strafe: it was actually started by the brothers Gaston, freeride skiers. I think it is impressive what they built and that they are still here. One of the brothers was on the Salomon team for a while.. or one Atomic other Salomon, idk. They went more into the touring side of things but they used to have some cool gear. Looking at their current collection you could say it is safe but they still have some good looking stuff. If you want a company to survive you can not only put out risky gear like G suits.

It's good quality outerwear. Like every other company, they have some stuff that looks good and some stuff that looks weird. Half the threads lately are the fashion police. Does anyone care?

thank you for this post. Looking up these Gaston brothers it seems like they go pretty hard. This article says the one brother John is one of the fastest ski-mo racers in the world. The other brother Mark had not competed in anything in years but he got talked into partnering with his brother for a race this year and dominated

I picked up a bomber jacket from them a while ago, it looks good, has proved to be made well, and is super warm for it's weight. I did pick it up on sale at evo or somewhere but I tend to think almost all clothing or outerwear is overpriced at msrp.
