Stowe to be sold...

ive got to think their prices will go down so i can hope to ski there someday when i dont have a college pass there. cant drop 1400 on a pass in three years, not a chance
 
Good. Hopefully the managment will improve.

If they didn't sell it they would have to give all taxpayers free seasons passes

keyword could, this article is almost a month old and there hasn't been any mention since then. obviously it may very well get sold, the infrastructure that AIG invested in at Stowe is all built for the most part, so I'm not sure how much prestigiousness they will lose if the sale does occur
 
Nothing will change. Stowe is a successful venture as is, and I would be amazed if their operating plan changes in the least if they are sold.
 
mount snow got sold and its gone for the better, it will probly be the same for stowe, but i think its gonna be some japanese company that buys it. the only problem is that wasnt stowe going through a huge hotel project?? what will happen to that
 
yeah i heard that too. plus they started building these super bad ass condos and shit. oh well i hope i dont have to pay 80 fucking dollars when i go there
 
it was/will probly be the guys that bought jay. Jay is going to be much more expensive and crowded this year with alll the new resort stuff like the new hotel, indoor water park, summer resort kinda stuff etc. sad to see a classic old mountain turn to this
