Stowe memorial day rail jam?

yeah i ended up landing a bunch. but i was scared from my first one because i ate shit into the dirt after completely missing the box

did the stowe people give you shit after you tried that? thats what someone said cuz of the no inverts or whatever but i backflipped and no one said anything.

yea man i really cant wait untill three days ago? and dont forget the year 2000 is comeing blablibloobla be afraid

No one really said anything, one lady came up to me and said that there was an EMT there or that she was an EMT or something, i dont really know. But then some guy kept asking if i was alright and just stood by me for a little while until i went back up to ski.

ill try and have a little edit done by tonight... stupid new macbooks don't have firewire ports so i have to wait until i have access to a computer that does.

ok, now that im in the right thread

dont hate on the skiing, i wasnt on top of my game at all after a month of not skiing in massachusetts, so just putting that out there, suuuper fun though

i was the one with the brown corduroys and the grey tee shirt. i had a ton of fun and i think stowe did an awesome job with the setup

haha i can see my dad in that pic. the face next to the beginning of the down rail in the background

Well yea, he did happen to eat shit on that hit, but I only took a picture of him because he was flipping off of that cannon and stomping it every run before that. Whoever that was... props.

DAMN! that is me, and I did eat shit on that one.

I was hoping there would be a picture of this. If anyone has video of this one or maybe one i didnt eat shit on let me kmow

i was wondering if anyone found a brown whaleback hoodie, i left it at the bottom on the back of that white pickup truck that was over near the cannon

hahaha, im in that pic too. I have the red t with the white helmet. I was hiking the ghetto booter, we were havin a mini flip sesh

did anyone else see some of those crashes where people hit the jump and the cannon at the same time?

Nah, just checked the website and they are saying it is the 30th, but it is a $20 entry fee which is really gypsy

I'm gonna try to get up 8 features again this year, you ask for a jump every year so I'll try but that takes a lot of snow so we'll see how it goes when I push it all out... As for the scheduled day, we been doing it for the last 6-7 yrs on the Sat of Memorial weekend so... We'll have more up than Mt Snow, last yr they had like 2 things set up if I remember... I hope to build sumpin' new as well... It will be a good time, let's all hope for good weather! More to come as we get closer...

Read above, there is still 25 +days until it happens, no idea how big it might be if I can even do a decent jump, might have to sacrifice 2-3 rail setups to do so...

2-3 rail setups > 1 mediocre jump in my opinion. it could be fun though. By the way, incredible job on Friday, Kurt. Nice to meet you as well.

Yup that's what I'm thinking, if it's not going to be a good jump then rails it is... only time will tell, right now I could build a good one but there's a lot of time between now and then...

Yes sir, Friday was a blast! Good to meet you guys as well, you guys put on a great show, I think next time there needs to be a few less people there and kept a little further away from the action, a bunch of shots tanked with people standing around in the wrong place,. whatever, the dubs more than made up for it...

Kurt dope job friday.

I say rails rails and more rails, all different kinds. and If i read correctly you said you wanted to try to build something? my vote is a sick whale tail/roller coaster with a nice kick off the end.

You should keep the setup kind of similar to last year..IMO. The side with the flat bar, corrugated tube and the cannon was the most fun I've had all season. If there is enough snow.

ill say it again because i havent yet; friday was amazing. so glad i got to hit that beautiful jump, and such a fun day to watch.
and although a jump or a gypsy rhythm section would be dope, i would rather have more rails and jibs set up.
and as far as making a new feature, im always a fan of a real sick DFD. either like killingtons or a round one like at ParkCity

The set up looked sick last year. Pretty bummed I will not be able to attend cause of my injury. But if you are building a new feature next year a S rail like the PC or Canyons one would be really dope.
