I have heard they are planning it yes, but it all depends on the weather as always. Windham will go down no matter what though.

i waz wondering the same thing...i think its goin down as of now nd its prolly from like 11 to 1 or somthing...also what's at the whindam jam??

Yea it is going down- memorial weekend, like teh 24th or something, over on spruce- should be fun- i'll be there for sure, grilling and skiing (best combo)....

hahaha seriously..... vermont has something against flat rails . they are rather simple to setup with a nice wide, even lip with a gap good for spinners

Endless Winter Rail Jam

May 24, 10am - 2pm

Windham Mountain is setting aside a nice pile of snow with the hope

that we'll have enough for a Memorial Weekend Rail Jam. The last couple

of years, this has been a really special event. When else do you get to

jib on skis or snowboard when the mountains are green and flowers are

in full bloom?

Not only are we providing one more chance to get on snow, but everyone

that shows up will get a raffle ticket and a chance to win new decks

and other great prizes from major snowboard companies. A pile of snow

and a pile of giveaways what could be better on Memorial Day Weekend.

Check back in the days leading up to this event to be sure that it's a go.

I can and will do a flat rail for thoes who want it, you want a 24ft flat or the 40ft flat? I think (don't quote me) I can put up a jump as well, I won't know untill I start pushing snow around, and I hope to have a new feature ready! For thoes who know what we have for rails/boxes, throw out some set ups and I'll see if #1 they are in good enough shape to put out and #2 I've got the snow and #3 if I got the room, I want to get the stuff up you like and try some new things. Should be fun, it's all about fun!!!

ahhhh dammit i knew Ben couldn't of been right..... 24th is the same day as Windham i was hoping it was on the 25th or 26th now I don't know what to do.... no way you guys could have that on sunday or monday?

as for features, if you turned the downrail into a long flat with a perfect lip that would be real sick, a FD with a perfect lip for disastering , a legit uprail that drops off, i think most kids would be satisfied with even just sessioning that all day

yea that sounds pretty good. but maybe have the 24ft flat instead of the 40. i dunno if we 2sev onto the 40 think we will be able to make it all the way to the end and do swups and stuff. I know on the 40ft down i could only 270 on and ride like 3/4 of the way without slipping off.

the shorter might be funner/easier to get tech on for flat rail.

either would be so dope though! same with a small booter!

i dont think that other flat bar is 24 feet long.... its like 15 at most

of course 2sevin onto a down is much harder to lock on i usually fuck it up too

longggg flat rails are soo much fun , i sessioned the 75 ft flat at windells for an hour or 2 straight... a flat rail half that size would be even better, so much easier to grip

and as gay as those super wide FD box setup was, it was real fun for doing 360 swups , so yeah any of those combinations would be real tight

but DEFINITELY the long flat

What would be legit is if you held the jam on Sunday, so people can hit up Windham and the Stowe jam. It's not a competition between the mountains, your both promoting the same sports.

Plus you'd get more people if you held it on a different day and it would make for that much more fun of an event.

Your haven't announced it officially anywhere, so you should just hold it on Sunday.

what is legit is that they have already announced it at stowe on the web site nd shit so ppl who have seen that and arent inclined on ns will be going...you cant change shit two weeks before...why doesnt windham change...it DOES suk they are on the same day but we're gonna have to deal...personally im going to stowe cause its closer nd it is for most of you guys too

fuckkkk this is so gay

i really was stoked on Windham but i can't really justify driving over 400 miles to Windham when Stowe is 45 mins away....

whyyyyyy??

yeaaa seeing as how i dont even know where the fuck windham is... im going to stowe!

ok so yea id deff be down with the 40ft set up as flat rail and then maybe the long box? and then sume curvy/kinky rail

what ever happened to the S stowe had? or did they ever have one?

I hear you guys on the flat rail, what I'm getting from this is ya'll want the 40ft flat???? That means if I put in a down rail it will only be 24ft or no down at all if I do an up rail. As for the S rail, it was bent out of shape by another groomer 2-3 yrs ago and not sure if I can get it back to a rideable shape. The topsheets on the wide boxes warp pretty bad when it's warm so I'll see if they can be used. I do have some different ideas for stuff.

The date has been set since we started holding this years ago, i know we missed last year but it has always been the Sat b4 Mem Day. I also called Windham, it sounds like we will have more snow to play on, just my opinion.

yeah 40 foot flat would be dankk if setup right. and the 24 foot uprail with a drop would be primmmo too

nice salted, wide lips, right size gap that make spinning on and getting technical easy & relaxed is the biggest thing in what makes a setup most fun for me...

Keep it comming, I like the suggestions, I build for you the park riders but don't be mad if I don't use all the ideas that come through here.

can't make it to the jam but can you take more ideas/suggestions from us like this next season? I rode stowe all year and talked to the park crew some and it seemed like there was always someone else we had to talk to to get the park changed or fixed up. props for hearing us out here and hope the jam is fun!

this is what makes me want to leave smuggs and ride stowe next yr. transportation is such a bitch though.

yea so this is what would do it for me.

40ft flat rail

then the up rail with as big of a drop off as possible so i can try and work the 450s.

so pumped to get back on some snow!
