Thinking of going to Stowe in March just for a weekend. The accommodation near the mountain is expensive but I heard although accommodation in the village is better, the traffic on the road (a few miles away from the lift) is really bad. Any recommendations where to stay?
You pretty much nailed it, not that I ever go to Stowe. Weigh your options, pay the price and stay close to avoid traffic, or wait in traffic. There are tons of inns and the like in town / in Waterbury, I’m sure they are all decent accommodations.
