Story behind Lars Veen

for those of you who dont know his name, he skied djuice prod. last year in not another ski movie, thats how i found out about him, he was a great skier but something happened and he got paralyzed, i dont know anything else

he overshot a really small table in mammoth, and broke his back. hes recovering at what may seem like a agonizingly slow pace to some, but is really a blisteringly fast recovery for someone who was paralyzed. lars is the man

lars was doing a 9 over a early season 40 footer overshoot by a bunch whn jon came down to see how he was he was bleeding from the ears and mouth then he got tranprted to i ome where than finally back home where last i heard he has feeling in his toes.

thats what i have been told so don't flip on me if im wrong but im sure i speak for all of us when i wish lars the best of luck.

P.S. jon was with tanner y simon as im sure most know

Jon is a diabolical genius with only one thing on his mind... Dominating the ski industy by taking out one treat at a time... Watch your back Shiller... Jon is on the loose.

Lars Veen is so good, Its too bad that he broke his back....

It seems like where ever Jon Olsson is, people get hurt. Tanner, Lars Veen, and Dumont.

yup, that's pretty much what happened. he's got a metal plate operated into his back/neck and it reduces his moveability with 40% or something..he said he prolly won't ever be able to ski on a high level again, but I sure as hell hope he'll be able to one day. he was by far the most promising skier in norway if you ask me. he's so sick, the steeziest style ever!

man, i miss his style so much. he was one of the reason to buy rostrups movies. i have nevern seen anyone put down switch bios like him. we are talking switch bio 12 rev tail and shit. i think it was kinda a lame of rostrup to not even put a little good luck or something. lars have had the best parts in the 2 of rostrups movies i have seen with him in (was he in unity?) when he can make a own segment about tanners crash, he can put a little something in the credits or something. but maybe it is there. i havnt read trough it all.

by the ay heres alittle edit filip in field made after the acident

just watched his part in 'not another ski movie' and was reminded just how fucking talented this kid was (still is?)

Man...such a dope segment. His style was the deal. I love the lead/opposite uncrossed mutes, and the lead safeties.

ah man not another ski movie was one of my first ski movies. i never did realise how damn steezy he was, by not only the standards back then, but also now. i hope that he's doing well
