Does anyone get sick when a storm comes in? Headaches? Loss of energy?

This hurricane is coming in and air pressure is really getting to me.

when there's like thunder and lightning and stuff I just get lots of energy.. I love thunder storms.

I only feel sick when its crazy hot out.

eh when its humid sometimes i feel like puking haha

thunderstorms i love but they usually make me sleepy

I fucking love storms.. I dont know what YOU'RE talking about...

Where I come from.. storms mean snow... and snow means skiing, and major pow... which means no headaches, and stoke coming from me..

When a storm comes I turn into a fucking party animal. WOOOOOOOO LIGHTNING WOOWOWOWOWO FOOTBALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

"Where you come from."

Where I come from a storm means lots of lightning and lots of rain. I don't feel like this when snow storm comes in.

Don't get me wrong, lighting is fucking awesome, but I don't want a fucking migraine. I've actually been struck by lightning indirectly. It's no cup of tea.

Where I come from storms mean better surf.

i was surfing during huricane katrina (all the way up in north carolina)

and it was the best surf i have ever seen on the east coast

i hate to disagree with u b/c i dont know how you feel.. but the hurricane pressure is only 998mb as of the 8pm advisory....not that low of a pressure. a strong winter storm will have a barometric pressure much lower than that. im not sure a pressure change like that would affect someone that much. but i dunno.

lightning and rain are fucking awesome. Wind is the only thing that sucks...

(if you're in florida, then that fucking sucks btw, and you should move to where theres more snow)

Well, I don't know what it is then. I feel like this everytime a storm comes in, but this hurricane is the worst feeling yet. I'm not scared of storms at all.

I'm moving to Summit. I actually have an interview on Wednesday at 5:30 for a job at Breck. CHICKA CHICKA!

Not to burst your bubble or anything... but its not a hurricane.

its a tropical storm.. so its not going to do jack squat.

and unless you're in like boca raton or soemthing, you wont even see a tornado.

i think you're safe...

Yeah, don't be a smartass. I have a migraine the size of ANWR, so it's pretty much equal to a bad case of PMS.

A tropical storm is still bigger than the regular storms we have.

Sorry to be the negative one in the party, but you have made me a firm believer in ones ability to talk themself into a physical/emotional effect. There is no way the storm could cause a migraine. My sister also has the ability to talk herself into migraines. Must be a girl thing ;)

yeah portland also had a huge thunder storm this morning. the weather was hot until yesterday. but living in rainy portland all my life when it starts to rain or get stormy it dosnt really effect me.

i think it can be done semi-subconciously. Once you start to associate one with the other they begin to happen together. kind of like how sounds and smells can trigger memories.

No, I don't watch the Weather Channel and get a headache. I can feel when a storm is going to come without the Weather Channel - most of the time.

what i meant was that maybe even the differnce in pressure, humidity levels, etc. associated with storms could be a trigger to your subconscious(like a sound/smell) that brings about memories of past headaches thus bringing on a new one.

You have a migraine but your on nsers why.... doesnt light only make migraines worse, hence your computer monitor?

indirectly. your body/mind senses the differences and associates them with past experiences, in your case being headaches. you become aware of the differences and then you associate them with the headaches, and bodies are good at replicating what the mind is expecting. so in a way you "think" yourself into a headache. i just cant think of a way pressure would cause a migraine unless you were at a very high altitude or deep under water.

Well if i get a migraine, and not just a little headache i feel like shit to the point where if i move at all my head throbs and i feel like i am going to throw up. Which is why if i get a migraine i am sleeping the entire time till it goes away. Just sayin, i don't care at all what you do.

Sometimes I get hard... sometimes tired.

Lightning storms are fun but they also usually mean I have to go climb more wireless towers for repairs... that gets old.

Storms in the winter time get me so amped though, that's all I can think about is how much pow I'll get to ski.
