Store skis laying down?

Do you store your skis laying down flat to preserve the camber? I just barely found out that people do this...

You and everyone else doing this: the two of you should go have fun now.

Maybe you didn't read what I said, I just found out that this is a thing

Remember, they're skis not jewels or fine china. You probably go and smash over rocks, bushes, rails, and ice the last thing you should be worried about is what direction you store your skis in.

Well I guess that settles it then

No i've also heard of this, it makes sense but personally its a pain to lay my skis down sideways, i'll also probably have a new pair by the time it affects my camber, so i don't but i have heard of people who do and it makes sense i guess

That's retarded. You'll do more "damage" to your camber in a day than laying a skis down flat for a year. Unless your a huge n00b

Except that it's not

Except that you are wrong sir and that it very much is a totally a thing. People are actually doing this. It's a thing people do. It's been done.

The best way to preserve camber in your skis is to not ski on them.

If you're worried about wearing out your skis, don't take them out of the plastic either.
