Stopped giving wings?

One thing I remember from when I was a little kid was whenever you got on a plane the flight attendants would pin those wings onto you and it was just some novelty that was pretty cool. Over the past week I've been on a few planes and none of the kids got their wings, did airlines stop doing this? It's not really a big deal it just sucks that new younger kids won't experience the joy of getting their wings haha, they alway remind me of that move Fat Camp, such a great movie lol.
 
been a long time since they did that..... they dont even give you a decent meal anymore:(

or let you look into the cockpit...
 
when i was like 6 i was allowed to fly in the cockpit for a bit, cause there used to be like 4 seats behind the pilots

 
fuck yea. but i actually got to hold the steering wheel! what kind of fucking pilot lets a little kid be in controll of an aeroplane???

they prob tricked me and i couldnt do shit anyways though
 
yeah that pisses me off that my kids won't be able to have that pleasure. They probably somehow found it as a safety hazard.
 
yeah i remember getting to sit in the cockpit, and how you were fed on almost every flight. last summer i was on a 9 hr. flight and there was no meal unless you wanted to buy piece of shit snacks.
 
i remember when i flew unaccompanied minor and the stewardess told me i could look into the cock pit. never did though but i did accept some food from a stranger.
 
ha that reminds me of a story..sorry that it doesn't have anything to do with this thread but here it goes

so I was in the locker room at my hill and hungry as fuck after an epic pow day, I am arguing/trying to make a deal with my friend to get a dollar for a cookie. this really nice old lady gave me her granola bar, and then I came back with a cookie and as soon as I did that she was going to offer me her sandwich..I really wanted that sandwich
 
the world sucks, I remember seeing the cockpit as a youngin. Must've been pretty memorable if I still remember it... Sucks for kids of today.
 
Yeah I got to go in there when I was little. I rememer thinking, this is so cool! Theres so many buttons! If I ever fly a plane im gonna let a little kid in there. Their face must be priceless
 
the movie is actually called Heavy Weights. It's incredible, and Ben Stiller is amazing.

And I remember the wings. Someone should ask for a pair soon, then let us know how it goes.

one time my mom knew the flight attendant, and we got mountain dew, and the flight was only serving coke products
