Stop the Spray!

Please help stop the California government from the aerial spraying of hormone based pesticides throughout the San Francisco Bay Area by signing the petition on http://www.stopthespray.org/. The government is spraying to irradiate the Light Brown Apple Moth which is apparently an invasive species to our area but is simultaneously exposing millions of (unknowing and unwilling) people to harmful and unwanted chemicals. There are plenty of other ways to deal with this problem. Aerial spraying of pesticides over residential areas is not one of them!

here in washington some "special" people are trying to sue the USFS for dumping fire retardant via airplane on their property during the course of firefighting activities. of course said special people who been suing the USFS for letting their homes burn as well.

 
that shit kills trees, spreads easily, and looks ugly as hell. i am sure that they wouldn't spray "unknown chemicals" over residential areas. they know exactly what is in the formula and if it was harmful, they wouldn't spray it. my guess is that they will be spraying it over the woods and not over houses anyway, but then again, i have heard nothing about the details.
 
then read the link i posted and stop talking out of your ass. it provides all the information you need to know. besides, there's plenty of ways besides using pesticides to get rid of them. luckily enogh, if you visit the link, you'll see that our action actually did something though. the state dropped its spraying plans.
 
sounds to me like another stupid cause that bored people think up which no one will give a fuck about and will slowly (or quickly) fade out..but who cares, onto the next random cause that will become the definition to your sad and meaningless life.
 
I'm all for the stopping of pesticides and I really hate to be a pessimist, but has an internet petition ever stopped anything? With that said I signed it anyway.

BIG THANKS to all those who signed it. and to the rest of you, read the damn link i posted. everything you need to know is on there. also, those of you who say it would never work, again, check out the link.... or my last post. the california gov't stopped it's plans to spray because of ACTION NOT PESSIMISM.
