ok so at the mountain i am sure 90% of you know someone who has gotten something stolen, let it be skis, goggles, whatever, i think everyone should look out for everyone.. say like you see someone go to the bathroom and you are just getting changed before/after skiing just keep an eye out. what my point is if we all keep an eye out we can stop a lot of things getting stolen, which is sieriously not cool. so lets help one another out.

i concur.. i didnt have anything get stolen from me this year (thankfully) but i have a friend who got his skis stolen from the rack while we were eatin lunch... it makes you think

i had a ski locker in the cellar of my lodge a few years back and someone just bent the door off with a crowbar or sumthin and took my families goggles, our snacks we had in their lol that ones not big but still and some random lil other shit

i put my skis in ski watch...yeah it may take longer to get them when u come back from the lodge but its deff worth it. and for my goggles and such...i keep my shit with me and my jacket also...if i bring a bag with food i JUST bring food in it and use a bag that isnt all the great. yes we should keep an eye out but also use your head and prepare so that u dont need to watch your stuff

The moutain I go to is relativley good about that, but occasionally you hear about someones bag or skis being jacked. Thats why I sit in the same spot and talk to the people around be that are also there everyweek. Although your idea would work, people usually steal stuff right after they see you take off with your ski stuff on, so they know your going to be on a lift or something when they do rob you.

most of the people that are stealing shit are probally on this website(who else would steal twin tips other then a kid). you fuckers had better watch out

its gay, i had my backpack stolen last year with shoes, sweatshirt, hat, and goggles in it. Pissed me off because i figured i was save with a shitty backpack and on a really uncrowded day. A friend got his brand new snowboard stolen (Rome anthem and Burton cartels) not cheap, by the managers son i guess...

My buddy said he's buying a stolen board this year, I got pissed at him. He's like "you know you would!" fuck no I wouldn't, that's soooo beat.

my friend got his board stolen at avila but before he had insured it and he made money with the insurance and bought the best bindings and best board without paying money..

i usually pay the $1 or $2 ski locker thing outside just for piece of mind. other than that, I never leave my skis alone

yeah my dad got his salomon x-screams stolen back in the day ahaha and then he bought a lock..and it was like a special lock for special racks and our ski resort always had em at the base and then a year later they like got rid of all the racks.. it was gay

I lock up all my stuff on the rack, and if i am not using them, then i lock them up in a ski locker.

k listen to this:

i had to piss really bad when we were in the lodge and my friends were getting food right. so i leave my goggles in my bag with like diff clothes in it. i had my name in it, everyone should put a name on their bag believe me it could help out, and im walking back right, and im seeing this kid going through it. so i waited to see where he was sitting. i got some dude that works there to come with me and im like thats my bag hes like, no its not, so i showed the name in it, called him a fucking nigger, and he got banned from the mountain all year. it was awsome

haha some dumbass left a $600 camera in a burton bandana off to the side of a wachusett lift, my buddy jacked it and made mad cash off ebay.

haha what an asshole. ... i got poles jacked twice last yr.. and a pair of goggles... its not cool at all 2 get shit stolen

I had a bag full of my clothes stolen. I also know someone who had 2 pairs of shoes stolen. I think that if you leave something at the hill, then it's finders keepers, but taking something from the lodge or skis is NOT cool.

that is the gayest thing ever, i would take a bat too your buddies face for that shit

ok that was a little intense. but still, NOT FUCKING COOL!!!!!!

after having ski stolen at the beggining of last season (i only had them for half a day) i would honestly stab the fucker that stole my stuff.

i dont know if you mean leave it for a while or just up near a lift of something, but my friends and i used to always put backpacks at the top of the park or at the bottom near a tree... man if it's not yours just leave it be.

I had someone take my backpack once from the lodge with shoes, then here in LA someone broke my door down and took my drawing pad, and friends nikon d70, and 2 years ago some meth addicts came into my house in portland and took my drawing pad (why do they want my drawing pad all the time? ugh) digital camera, scanner, laptop, cellphone x 2, and wide angle lense. stealing SUCKS go home and die.

yo i was talkin to this kid last night and he told me he had some 187's with salomon bindings on them & he would sell them to me for $100... thought it was sorta fishy... he said some kid just gave them to him

i just stash my shit in the woods where nobody goes, i hid my tracks as best as i can like right behind a tree. i ski at sunshine mostly and you have to take a gondola down or ski out so you would look pretty stupid trying to make your get away with skis under your arms or loading onto the gondola with 2 pairs of skis.

that wont work then it never stops.

I never had anything stolen at my hill, but today surfing my friend had his size 13, 3 year old nikes stolen. I think he was happy to get rid of them.

hearing that still makes me cringe because those are the sweetest skis I have ever seen.

to the guy who says eye for an eye... that's bad karma.

I ski at the smallest mountais ever, so nothing gets stolen. But when I was in Engelberg last winter someone stole my friends pocketrockets. He had just broken the binding, I really don't get people who steals skis with broken bindings.

yeah man its true cas its no fun to get ur shit stollern especially if its all new stuff and u spent loads of money on it.

the only time i dont lock my skis up is when i am in the caf, which your skis are visible from. i keep a sharp eye out.
