look I really don't want to get into an argument with you regarding climate science because I will present you with strong scientific evidence from a credible organization and you will deny it with another opinion peace from your little conservative blog.
 
i couldn't even watch that whole thing. i have the biggest soft spot for animals...even animated. especially polar bears :( the christmas coke commercials with them really get me

wow, you are the most naive person ever.

but leckett was right. whether or not we caused that shit, we need to stop "fighting" the way that the earth naturally "heals" itself. Everything goes in cycles. Humans stopped too many of them and even made new ones that made other one's out of balance. just like any species gets when they get too glutenous, they pay the price.

why the hell is everything nowadays either a "war" on something or a "fight" against something else?
 
Wow... That was a little over the line. As much as I think we can make a few changes to help our environment, I think some people over exaggerate the global warming and confuse it with cycles quite a bit. Don't get me wrong, it is an issue to look at, but not as bad as Al Gore makes it out to be. You only see him ranting when his ice cream is melting...

what's ironic is all of the people in this thread that say that global warming doesnt exist, politics play no role in it, and its just the natural cycle of the earth, are probably the same people that called sarah palin an idiot.

maybe it isn't a natural cycle, and the entire thing is political, but if you look at the scientific evidence and talk to any scientist who isn't working for Gore, you'll find that the avergae temperature of the planet has decreased by 6 degrees in the last 10 years. the problem we have with all of this is that people are calling what should be categorized as "climate change," "global warming." the earth is not getting warmer, therefore we cannot call it "global warming," we must call it climate change, because that is what it is.

and where does sarah palin fit in all of this anyways? she thinks climate change is part of God's plan (or at least she did until the entire world called her an idiot and McCain told her to stuff it), i'm pretty sure she knows absolutely nothing about the science behind climate change.

she doesn't think that humans play a significant role in WHAT? true, in her latest interview she said that. She has said before that climate change is part of God's plan. She did not say that in her latest interview, probably because somebody told her not to (she was pressured into admitting it, and instead beat around the bush and said that she didn't assume to know God's plan, which is weird because she seemed to know all about it not too long ago).
