STOP COAL FROM RUINING THE NORTH WEST ++K

Thats what i like to see. I live in Bellingham and this would slice right through our town. I live 5 minutes frm the train tracks so this would have an ENORMOUS impact on my day to day life. Really hoping this doesnt pass.
 
wait so what are they trying to prevent? do they want to completely eliminate the export of coal through the PNW? If so that is pretty damn unrealistic.

 
No not completely, they want to take coal from montana, wyoming area and shuttle to spokane then back up along the coast. It would increase the number of coal trains to something like 20 a day.
 
build it.

the west side of the state is an overdeveloped shit hole anyway, might as well give some jobs to the poor souls who choose to live there.
