I've NEVER hated MSP or Tanner. But I've always disliked Simon because he says "the money was a big incentive" and what not. And maybe he tried to break the world record so his sponsors would pay him more and what not. Most pros aren't all about the money, yeah its nice and all but they're there to have fun and do what they love and are very passionate towards, which is skiing.
 
just curious, and i'm not doubting their passion for skiing, but who are these pros you preach about? I bet there have been instances where they have made decisions for money.
 
Uhuh.......but what happens when you're too old to ski anymore, bet you're glad you end up working in a ski shop not making enough money to support a family.Look at baseball/golf/football etc, pro's make a shitload of money off of that, pro skiers work as, if not harder, than some of those pro's. Definatley more dangerous. I guess Simon just wants to make a decent living doing something he love's and is good at. Nothing wrong with that. I don't have any hate against Simon.

just stepping off the dumont wreck thats going on here. did anybody notice westers skis in that vid? next years alpha 1, or maybe 2??

if you have watched yeah dude you know thats what simon like s and he clearly says himself that he wants to push and progress the sport
 
He did have a few sick shots from austria in BC for Nike 6.0 that were actually impressive, prolly cause he hasn't done any of it since TBC.
 
So you dislike him for being honest? Because guess what, all those other pros have financial concerns as well and if the right offer came along, then the money would be a big incentive for them as well.

To think otherwise would be foolish and having the wool pulled over your eyes.
 
i love how no one mentions the fact that he walks around and treats other people like total shit, i agree we shouldnt call him a halfpipe skier, i call him an asshole
 
ya I've seen him pull some pretty dick moves. He was being all nice to a buddy of mine then I see him turn around and start making fun of him to peter and those guys like 8 seconds later
