Any reviews of the Atomic stomp? i havent heard much abouty it, but have found a good deal on em. Likes? dislikes?
 
The only problem with them is that you have to mount them way back from center because they have a binding spot where you have to put them. Also, I think the older ones force you to use atomic bindings.
 
true^.. a rep told me you can take that plate off and then drill into the ski directly and put them wherever you want, but that sounds ghetto.
 
What year? And yeah, the plate comes with pre-drilled holes for atomic bindings, it's easy to remove though. If not to your taste, this years thugs/pimps are pretty much the replacements of the stomp/tweak. Just better. I hada pair of stomps for the last two years, they're a decent ski, little too soft for my liking though. Then again anything that isn't a race board seems soft.
 
Like I said, I'm primarily on racing boards, so anything seems soft. My opinion is a little biased.
