Hey my skis were stolen from the Killington base area on Saturday. They are K2 public enemies, 159 with axil bindings. The are pretty easy to spot. On one of the skis all the buildings are colored in pink, and hey have Defi, Pinky and Jersey stickers on them. If any one sees them out there please message me or something!!

that sucks .. what i do if i go to a big ski area is if im with my friends ill take one of my skis and one of theres so there both different cuz how can u ski on different skis? or just put each one in different places

* but that really sucks

wow,very sorry. that sucks

i live in the atl so i cant help much. this year when i ski im gona bring 2 pair of skis with me so im gonna leave one locked up and be using the other

i usually dont put my skis with the others, i leave them laying on the ground with my poles because i dont care right now if they get stolen, if they did id probably get pissed but people dont usually steal skis that lay out in the open away from others. thats sucks though dude. try reporting it to the cops and shit and put out a reward and stuff

i never put both my skis in the same place i will put one ski on one rack or somthin then walk to another one and put it there .

Buy a ski lock, its like a light weight lock that you put in your pocket and to lock it you insert the lock into the ski rack. It's like 1 inch by 1 inch and works well. As long as there is a ski rack u can use it.

thats such a dirtball move, its a good thing that u can tell it to so many ppl who freeski on ns like this cuz ill be looking for them when ever i go skiing

how many of you who think this sucks also ski with stolen "rental" poles???

if you do your nothing but a hypocrit...I hope who ever nabbed your skis blows both knees and gets raped by a bear in the woods

^haha thanks,

Yeah my skis were seperated. Normally I don't even bother to do that they were kinda old and pretty beaten up. Oh yeah and I have the serial # so tomorrow I am gonna call around.

dude that sucks, i always lock my shit up ever since my one friend got his board stolen. it gets to be a hassle sometimes but locks are the way to go

too bad you didnt catch them in the process, then you could have given them a justified beat down

I know how it feels man, last year I had a BRAND NEW pair of skis AND BRAND NEW P12's snatched after the third day of skiing them. I bought a burton lock.. works well and fits easily in my pocket. Good luck!

~n~

yes exactly...i have a chord one with teh combo lock...

the same thing happened to me, i locked mine up beside my buddies board...both locked with the metal cord, but someone came and snipped them with a pair of cutters...AND TOOK THTE BOARD BUT LEFT MY SKIS...just tells u how un popular skign is where i am...(ontario) but anyways...key locks are the way to go

why do people have to steal shit, what happened to the unwritten rules at ski areas that said you dont touch other peoples stuff. I like it better at like waterville or loon because you dont hear about people stealin shit that often. At killington its such a touristy place that brings in a ton of people that you cant trust.

That sucks, people are so rearted now a days, i invested in a ski lock, so i cut down on the chnace of this happening, i really hope u find yours skis and beat the shit out of who ever took them :)

a friend of mine caught some pussy stealing his board, he fuckin kicked his ass pretty hard, and in front of a lot of people... how huliliating!!!

it was in Bromont, two seasons ago, if anybody witnessed the scene

Ya, cuz you know, the mountain doesn't have to pay for those rental poles or anything. And when shit gets stolen, it doesn't result in higher lift ticket prices or anything. Or maybe higher food prices. Or whatever they wanna do to get their money back directly from the consumer. Think of what happens if many people start stealing rental poles, and some jackasses think "hey, I need skis, rental skis don't belong to anybody, so stealing them is OK too, seeing as how stealing rental poles is cool."

Basically, every single person on the hill is paying for those poles, at least 3X over, thanks to all the jackasses like you who think stealing from the mountain is "OK".

Good job, you're not only stealing from the mountain, and from the person who rented the poles and other assorted gear, but everyone else who skis at that hill, thanks to the resulting higher prices for stuff due to a need to replace rental equipment.

my buddy had his snowboard stolen last year. He decided to call his car insurance company and tell them that someone stole it out of his car... he ended up geting brand new equipment for free.

at my mountain they have free ski sercurity, aka they take your skis and put them in a pen and give you a ticket stub

yea man, thats totally awesome. #1 You just exposed your buddy to a little thing called insurance fraud... and people never go to jail for that. Also, way to jack up car insurance prices by lieing jackass!
