Stolen skis - Moment Jib 181 - Hunter Mountain

Hey NS,

While at the 42 degrees north competition at Hunter Mountain, Sean Hartel had his skis stolen today.

They

are 2008 Moment Reno Jib 181's with a custom base on them, they say

TwinLab instead of Moment on one tip and one tail. These are the only

pair out there. Needless to say, if you see a pair of Moment Jib's with

TwinLab on the bases, they are the ones that were taken. The skis have

rossi bindings with the turntable heels mounted on them.

The skis were leaning against the wall inside Colonel's Hall and were taken between 5:30 and 6:30pm.

All

we are looking for is to get the skis and bindings back to Sean. If you

have them or have information about them, please contact Moment Skis

directly, by emailing Jason@momentskis.com, messaging Moment here on

NS, or by calling 775-527-1595.

Thanks for your help NS!

J

That is why I lock my skis...but hopefully he will get his skis back...it is kinda hard to see bases sometimes though.

was he wearing a light blue jacket that said TWINLAB real big on the back? I was behind him in the liftline i think. those skis were sick looking

thats so shitty. probably some lame kid from the city... i like to think that people who are into park as much as us aren't the type of people to steal skis from ourselves...

That sucks, I talked with him a bunch. Really nice guy and doesn't deserve that crap to happen to him.

are you kidding me? thats the lamest shit ever. i hope sean gets his skis back. karma will definitely get the person that stole them. i cant believe people can be so low

It seems as though the skis have been found!

A NS member found them buried in the parking lot and is Shipping them back to us so Sean has them in time for the Big Bear Open!

Thanks goes out to everyone who aided in the search for these and their quick return to the rightful owner, great job NS!

Thank you,

J

wow, thats really lame, i hate when people steal shit from people...at least they were recovered

spread the love

thats the lowest of the low....

I think this is the only time I've ever read of stolen skis being returned to the owner. Yay for cool people.
